Laçin Yeşil Göl
Laçin Yeşil Göl is a natural lake with a 4.5-hectare recreation area around it, located about 3 km from the centre of the Laçin district in northern Çorum. Promoted as “the hidden paradise of Çorum” by the Çorum Governorship and the Orta Karadeniz Development Agency, the site has quickly become one of the province’s most popular day-trip and camping destinations.
Natural Setting
Yeşil Göl centres on a natural pond ringed by pine forests and green valley scenery. The area takes its name — “Green Lake” — from that dense greenery, and can be visited in all four seasons: colour transitions in spring and autumn, cool shade in summer, and a silent snow-covered landscape in winter. The lake also offers suitable conditions for birdwatching and nature photography.
Facilities in the Recreation Area
According to the Laçin District Governorship, the area offers 4.5 hectares of space including the lake and its surroundings. Per Çorum Governorship announcements, the Yeşil Göl recreation area includes:

- An artificial waterfall
- Walking, running and cycling paths
- Parking and social facilities
The area offers year-round opportunities for outdoor sports and camping, in touch with nature. Designated zones for tent camping and day picnics are laid out to serve families and young travellers at the same time.
